About ARC

The ARC (Abundantly Rooted Children) Ministry at Abundant Life Baptist Church has something for every child, from infants to "tweens." ALBC offers children solid Biblical teaching, caring adult volunteers, safe places to play and grow, fun and exciting special events, and other activities that will help your child grow in the faith.

Join us every Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 a.m., and 6:00 p.m.

Age Groups

0 - 5 years old (Nursery/Preschool)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade (School Age)

6th Grade (Tweeners)

Wednesday Awana (3 years - 6th Grade)

We Believe

Children are a gift from God and should be treated with tender loving care.

Children are important to God and His kingdom.

Children can be equipped to serve God and others.

Parents are the primary spiritual teachers of their children and the church should assist the parents in this role.

Children should have a safe, fun, creative, and multi-sensory environment to assist in the development of their relationship with God.

Classroom Management

Every attempt will be made to soothe a crying infant or child. In the event that an infant/child cries inconsolably, the parent will be notified to assist. Children are expected to follow the directions given by the volunteers. Any correction needed will be done in a positive manner. No type of physical discipline will ever be used. Children will be told "no" kindly but firmly when deemed necessary. Each child's behavior will be handled in a way that protects their self-esteem and helps to nurture them in a growing knowledge of God's love and forgiveness.

Privacy Policy

The ARC Children's Ministry occasionally takes pictures of the children to document the fun activities provided at the church. These photos are sometimes placed on the church's website, facebook, and used in other marketing materials. If you do not want your child's photo used in these manners, please notify the Children's Director.
