Anne Kenagy, Elementary Childcare Coordinator

My favorite character in the Bible: Ruth

My life verses: John 10: 27-30

One question that I would ask God: “Why do You love me so much?!”

Something that nobody knows about me: Few people know that I grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania.

I am happiest when . . . I am spending time with my family.

The one book (besides the Bible) I’d recommend to anyone: for fun reading, Battles of Destiny Series by Al Lacy

On my iPod: I do not own an iPod, but if I did I would definitely have “My Redeemer” by Nicole C. Mullen

My trademark expression: “Have a blessed day!”

The team I root for: I root for MU most of the time. I now root for the Cameron Aggies because my daughter, Joanie, is playing volleyball there.

My proudest moment: When I experienced the miracle of the birth of my two children, Scott and Joanie

My perfect childhood memory: Going to sleep on the farm with the window open and hearing the frogs croaking as I went to sleep

In my free time, I . . . like to garden and go for walks.

If I could do it over again, I . . . would have liked to have been able to help my parents keep their farm.

Three people I would want to have a meal with: Ruth, Rahab and Bathsheba

My favorite movie: Bringing Up Baby with Katherine Hepburn

My favorite TV show: I enjoy watching 24 with my husband, John. It is our date night.

How I would spend $1,000.00: I would split it between my children to spend it as they have need. If I needed to spend it myself, I would purchase new shrubs for our yard and flowers.

What my last meal would be: A Flo’s Fillet or Baby Back Ribs from Longhorn with a loaded baked potato and salad. It really wouldn’t matter because what is to come in heaven will be much better than anything here.

What I am most excited about: How God is working in the lives of the children at ALBC

My pet peeve: Being late to things

I could eat . . . a Dairy Queen Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie Blizzard.

My favorite vacation spot: Gettysburg, PA and to see my family

My passion for ministry: The Lord has given me a love for children and a passion to see them come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. It is my desire to see children grow to love the Lord and have a daily walk with Him.

My family: I am the youngest child in my family. I have a brother who lives in Pennsylvania near my parents and a sister who lives in Virginia. My husband is John Kenagy. We have been married for almost 11 years. We have 4 children between us. Justin is 30. Kristin is 26 and is married to Nathan. They have two children- Nikolas and Kody. Scott is 23, and Joanie is 19.
