The Abundant Life Baptist Church's state-of-the-art children's facility allows leaders to teach children in new and innovative ways. The school age ministry uses an exciting curriculum model called the Workshop Rotation. Educational research shows that children learn by doing. When learning takes place in this type of environment, children are better able to process, retain and apply information.
Workshop stations include:
Science Quest: Science and nature exploration leads to wonderful discoveries about the Creator and the stories He gives us to live by.
Holy Word Movie Theatre: The tantalizing smell of popcorn welcomes children to this workshop where they view and analyze clips that expand the scope of the Bible story.
Creation Station: This workshop is for the artist in every child! Children create personal artistic expressions of their spiritual growth and respond to the Bible story.
The Mouse Pad: With the use of computers, children explore Biblical truths as they use modern technology.
Bible Mania: Put those growing minds to the test with an interactive Bible story review followed by fun and facinating game shows such as Holy Word Squares, Bible Jeopardy, Who Wants to Be a Bible Scholar and more!
Join in the fun on Sunday nights at 6 p.m.! Rooted in Him which is a group discipleship program for both K-2 and 3rd-6th graders. Also, don't forget that the ARC Children's Ministry offers AWANA every Wednesday night at 6:15pm (September-May). Click here for more info on AWANA.
