Career Singles
The Career Singles at ALBC was started in 2008 as a ministry to young singles who were out of high school, or had just left college, and had entered their career field, but still longed for an identity within the church. Statistics have shown that a great number of young people leave the church after high school, leave their faith and never step back into a church again. Our desire is to help provide a ministry that can help close that gap and meet a need that is evident within the church body. Our goal and strategy is to help reach and impact career-aged singles (20’s & 30’s) in the Lee’s Summit and South K.C. metro-area with the good news of Jesus Christ and to help transform them into fully-devoted followers of Him by providing a loving environment that helps build spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, commitment, and service in a variety of settings.
Our vision is to become a community where career-aged single adults can experience and know God better, develop meaningful relationships, be encouraged in their spiritual journey, be empowered to serve others, experience a sense of belonging and community, and be appreciated and accepted.
