Membership

Abundant Life welcomes any person to explore church membership who professes faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is able to give evidence of spiritual rebirth, and who is willing to adopt the views of faith and practice at ALBC. Please view the church's Statement of Faith for an outline of the church's core values and beliefs.


There are 3 steps in joining Abundant Life. These steps can be done in any order.
  1. Come forward to join when Pastor Phil extends an invitation at the end of any service.
  2. Attend the New Members Class.
  3. Schedule a pastoral interview with one of the pastors on staff.

You may join Abundant Life in one of the following ways:
  1. By profession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to be followed by baptism.
  2. By a statement of your previous belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and of baptism.
  3. By a letter in good standing from another church which also holds to the belief in Jesus Christ as the only means of salvation.

New Members Class
If you are interested in joining Abundant Life or you would just like to learn more about Abundant Life, please plan to attend the New Members Class. THIS CLASS IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR MEMBERSHIP. The class is usually held on the last Sunday of the month from 12:30-3:30pm in Room 1. Lunch and childcare are provided.
