Tiko & Lena Agamalian - Serving in Lithuania

Tiko was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, formerly Soviet Union. Growing up in a family that upheld moral standards, education and family values, he never once heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was after his military service in Soviet Army, when he heard the gospel for the first time.

The greatest influence on Tiko's life was a personal testimony of a friend who lived what he believed and by his patience and love proved the genuineness of God's Word. Tiko trusted Christ as his personal Savior on October 4, 1992.

He met Lena in Moscow at a local Baptist church. Right after they were married, they left for Siberia, where they lived about 1 year. It was in that remote outpost, where they met missionaries and got involved in their ministry in a small way. After spending only few months with those missionaries, the Lord made it clear that His purpose for them was to bring the Gospel to the unsaved and serve Him as missionaries.

Tiko obtained his education at Maranatha Graduate School and Heart of America Theological Seminary. They then joined the ministry of Derek and Julie Thomas in Vilnius, Lithuania.

"We look forward to seeing God's power working in the lives of men and women as we proclaim His truth through various ministries," said Tiko.
