Ken and Mindi Heizer and their seven children will be serving in Torino, Italy, beginning in late summer 2009. They will be employing a Pauline church planting approach called Short-Cycle Church Planting which requires creative teamwork within an atmosphere of urgency, intentionality and innovation. They, with a team of other like-minded missionaries will be focusing on developing, by God’s grace, a biblically mature, nationally led church within five years from the team’s arrival on the field. They are serving with Avant Ministries. Avant Ministries is a missionary sending agency headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, that recruits, equips, sends, supports and serves missionaries to more than twenty countries globally.
