The Jacksons are truly excited about all that God is doing in Harmons, Jamaica. This year they will host over 700 mission volunteers who come serve on a short term mission trip. During the year they will build about 50 houses and distribute over 100,000lbs of clothes and school supplies. In a community that has 80% unemployment they will employ about 50 Jamaicans for half the year.
They are excited about their new greenhouse project. The first greenhouse has been planted with 1700 sweet pepper plants that will soon be ready for harvest. The second greenhouse is now completed and will be planted in a few weeks. Each greenhouse will employ 12 families and provide additional income to help other families in the community. The most exciting news is that they have a possible prospective pastor they are currently working with to discern if he is God's man for the position. This is their biggest prayer request right now. Please pray for God’s direction as they continue this process.
