Paul Meisen - Serving in Missouri

Paul is a native Missourian; born in Joplin and raised in Springfield. He is the oldest of four boys who grew up in a Christian home that taught the importance of honoring God and loving His people.
After graduating from Central High School in Springfield, he attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, graduating in December 1987 with a bachelor of biblical studies. He soon accepted a call as a youth pastor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After almost three years, he took a similar position at the Flint Hills Christian Church in Emporia, Kansas where he served for 12 years. FHCC was the place where Paul grew as a pastor, not just to young people but to people of all ages.
After a short stint at a church in Oklahoma, Paul attended and graduated with a master of divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary in December 2007. While attending seminary, Paul served as the associate pastor of English ministries of the San Gabriel Valley Alliance Church in Arcadia, California.
Paul was introduced to Capitol Ministries at TMS when the ministry’s president, Ralph Drollinger, gave a brief presentation in Greek class. After a number of meetings and training both parties agreed to begin a ministry work in the Show-Me State.
Paul has been married to Joye Sadler, who is from the St. Louis area, for more than twenty years. They have four children—Jessica, Timothy, Benjamin and Jonathan. They all love being back in the heart of the Midwest serving the men and women of the Missouri State Capitol.
